How does the free discovery call work?
It's a 15-minute video call (usually on Zoom) where we talk through where you are now, what topics you're finding difficult, and what your target grade is. There's no pressure — it's just a chance to make sure we're a good fit before committing to anything.

How quickly can I start tutoring?
In most cases we can schedule a first session within 3–5 days of your initial enquiry. If you have an upcoming mock or exam and need something sooner, let us know in your message and we'll do our best to fast-track it.

Do I need to commit to a set number of sessions?
No — there's no minimum commitment. Many students book regular weekly sessions, but you're free to book ad hoc, pause, or stop at any time. We recommend at least 4–6 sessions to start seeing consistent improvement, but it's entirely up to you.

What if I'm not happy after the first lesson?
We offer a first-lesson satisfaction guarantee. If you don't feel the session was worthwhile, just let us know and you won't be charged. We want you to feel confident you're in the right hands before continuing.

Which exam boards do you cover?
We cover AQA, Edexcel, and OCR for both GCSE and A-Level Maths, as well as WJEC for students in Wales. If you're unsure which board you're on, just mention your school and we can find out for you.

How do online lessons work?
Lessons take place over Zoom using a shared digital whiteboard (Bitpaper or Google Jamboard) so you can write and draw exactly as you would on paper. You'll need a device with a camera, a stable internet connection, and ideally a stylus or graphics tablet — though a mouse works fine too.

Peak Grades takes your privacy seriously. We only collect the information you provide directly (name, email, enquiry details) and use it solely to respond to your enquiry and deliver the service you've requested.
We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for automated profiling or marketing without your explicit consent.
- Data is stored securely and deleted within 12 months of last contact if no tutoring relationship continues.
- You can request to see, correct, or delete your data at any time by emailing hello@peakgrades.co.uk.
- This website is hosted in the UK/EU and complies with UK GDPR.

Terms of Service
By booking tutoring sessions with Peak Grades you agree to the following:
- Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged at 50% of the session rate.
- Payment is due before or at the time of each session unless a package has been pre-purchased.
- Peak Grades reserves the right to end a tutoring relationship if sessions are repeatedly missed without notice.
